Advocacy Services
Dahlia Homes understands that living in today’s society can be chaotic and challenging. Therefore, we have an advocacy team dedicated to assist those wanting to get onto the NDIS. We have limited capacity for this, and it is a case-by-case basis- however we try to support as much of our community as possible and therefore it is always important to reach out with your situation and see how we can best support you.
Dahlia Homes has a strong sense of assisting the community and therefore we offer advocacy to all our current and future participants.
Advocacy at Dahlia can include but not be limited to:
Ensuring you are being supported by your Coordinator in a way that is reasonable and set out in your NDIS plan.
Ensuring you are having choice and control with your support needs.
Ensuring you understand the NDIS and what is being requested of you.
Ensuring you are prepared for your plan review, or understand what evidence you might need to get the funding that will improve your quality of life.
Anything else that you might be struggling with and just needing an extra set of hands to assist.
